WTF.. car problem has to be audio related

ok just got it back..

they tested for parasitic drain.. tested for voltage drops with volume "high".. they were monitoring it when the car was off and nothing was getting drained.. alternator is fine.. they say theres no problems at all they have no idea why it keeps doing this.. BUT when i got in my car they had the radio on.. i dont know if thats how they were testing for voltage drops but obviously that isnt what i listen to and its much different than a rap cd with mostly low bass..

im about to go outside now and test for voltage drops.. is there anything else you guys suggest i test or take a look at?

well to test for parasitic drain you have to pull every fuse one by one and see if u get a draw.. thats what they did.. unless u mean something totally different?

i bet ur factory amp is stayin on..

Try puttin in the factory stereo again. Drive it around and see if it happens. It pry wont die which leads me to believe u didnt wire something right.

I have a 2000 jimmy w/ bose and i had the same problem. My car would die after a day of not driving it. Took it to place to get fixed and they never did find the problem. Put my factory back in and it didnt happen. I finally found some who suggested that the factory amp was still on. He wired correctly and it never happened again.
