ok heres a quick rundown

3 weeks ago my car died and had to get it jumped.. the car didnt crank or anything.. interior lights wouldnt turn on.. couldnt unlock car with remote.. car was COMPLETELY dead..got it jumped by AAA and took it to the dealership, they thought it was the battery so they replcaed it.. a week and a half later the same thing happened.. took it to the dealership and they blamed it on a loose positive terminal.. i was skeptical of that being the problem but took the car back trusting their word for it. 1 week later SAME THING happened.. now its at the dealership and they have it hooked up to testing equipment and they have no idea what is wrong.. they tested the amp in my car and said that wasnt the problem and they have had no trouble starting up my car...

the ONLY thing i could think of that it could be is that when im blasting the stereo at almost full volume everywhere i go its draining the battery faster than its getting charged.. is that even possible? idk what else it could be..

the dealership tested for parasitic drain, they tested the charging system.. found nothing

any help GREATLY appreciated.

If you have your stereo all the way up 100% of the time you are driving, it could be just a drained battery situation.

Your alternator could be dying as well.

Your starter may be f*cked.

Ussually, in the diagnostics, they will test for those though.

i play my stereo at 60/80 volume.. thats pretty much as high as it goes without distorting.. and ya i was thinking if it was my alternator or starter that the dealership would have caught it in the three times i took it there..

Type of car?Alt size and what battery?

Try adding a second battery?
99 grand prix gtp

ive tried to find the alternator size before but couldnt.. an its an ac delco battery.. not sure of size i dont have the car with me to look.. they are keeping it another day to make sure nothings wrong

i thought stock electrical could handle 800-900 rms.. am i wrong?

All electricals are different. Have you checked for voltage drops? remember everything in the car uses the same electrical.

one thing?...tells us about your system?.amp,wattage,..that could help too...
i have stock bose speakers running off of a factory amp..

sub is a 15" IA LI.. amp is a hifonics 1208d wired at 2 ohms so putting out 900 max.

headunit is an eclipse cd3100

im sure the dealership tested for voltage drops.. in order to get an accurate reading they would have to play the stereo how i usually listen to it though right? because i doubt they blasted it that loud in the shop

that looks like its not drawing too much power...maybe check your alt...its maybe dying already and its time for a new one...thats the only thing i could think of right now...

exactly. I would dfo the above suggestion of taking the amp out and seeing if it continues. also unhook the power wire from the battery. Maybe the wire has a cut in it or something.
