what shop in grand rapids did you go to? And i think getting a better box and searching for better specs would help...i seen a lot of the shops in Grap and there boxes weren't well built

k i just emailed some pics of my subs from my phone to my email and ill post them soon.

i do have a yellow top optima battery that i use for my car but just one. and the t1500 amps that i have cant take 1/0 gauge wire. each sub in a seperate box. 18x18.5x15.75. i dont know what they tuned the port to. i think they siad it was tuned to 60 or 65.

both subs are hooked up to one amp and then the second amp is hooked up to the other amp with a yrca and i forgot that they are at one ohm right now. the subs are dual 4s.

First of all you need some extra batts, 1/0, and probably a different box depending on the tune.

Get some 1/0 reducers for the wire to fit in the amps. I would suggest getting 2 Batcap 2000s aside from your Optima.

If an audio shop built you a box for those subs thats tuned to 60-65 Hz find another shop to build a box or have someone build you a good one on here...there's plenty of box designers/builders on here. Those RF amps should take bigger power wire than 4 gauge...check it out on RF's website...they should provide specs for your amps. If your only doing 120 db's, there's def something wrong...you came to the right place for help. Don't get caps. Upgrade the big 3 is a good idea...esp running a few 1000 watts.
