Why would they intentionally build more mms into the cone like that? Or is that just how the dust cap is designed?

Just waiting for a chance to do a build with that sub. I dont too much for anything under 28hz at all anyways. Got too much of that in my setup that i'd trade off anyday.

I'll be trying them in a unorthodox 2 way with some Audible Physics NZ3AIBe's in the pillars crossed at 200/250hz.

I can get it but not willing to do it - these Honda civics are easy money for thieves, they break the driver side window, alarm goes off, they reach down, pull the truck lever , walk around, open , pull out , throw in there car and drive away. They're in and out in about a minute. The stories I could tell you about sound system break ins are pretty crazy.

Bolt everything down in the trunk. Don't use screws as most thiefs will have a Phillips or flat head with them. If you don't want to use bolts, use torx head or another uncommon type of screw head. Put a siren or two in the trunk. I have an extra siren inside my car. I sat in the car the other day and set off the alarm. It was painful.

Once thieves start getting smart enough to wear ear plugs then we can start adding strobe lights to blind them haha. If they start wearing eye protection then we will have to come up with something else to add to piss off the assholes that steal our goods

The TNT in the original picture is an older model, at least 2 revisions have happened since that picture (sellers on Amazon sometimes push old merchandise that has been phased out). The modern TNT is a decent sub

Thanks bro but it's the 400rms that concerns me a bit. Im not trying to compete but obviously want a reasonable amount of output. I will ask, why are you selling it and how much shipped to the Chicago land area ?

I am selling cause I just can't make up my damned mind what i wanna put in my car. Right now i am after two rare D'Amore Engineering AF15's. So this and a few other items I need to move. Lol, im the same way, always messing around and on top of it I have 2 cars and a hometheater system on a 2000 watt peavy pounding a car sub but I think I finally nailed the van. The box I built for the van is solid with some solid subs. It's this lil civic and this pioneer that I'm not pleased with, I bought the pioneer for 40$ so I'm not pissed or anything but would like a little better. You're price is nice but I have an attraction to that sundown for 135$ 500 rms. I can't help but to think that less rms = less output, you know? And 600 rms is really where I draw the line but to save a buck I'm willing to go with 500 but 400 seems a bit low.

See if Fu Audio has thier 750 line on sale for 130 shipped. Ive had SD sa'S, Ssa dcons and the pioneers before. For the price at 130 the fu 750s won't be beat. Only thing is they like larger boxes like 2.0 cubes per. They are also hand built in the usa and use american coils,in this price range and power I dont see anything coming close to a budget woofer like this
