Which vehicle type is better for bass?

Supposing you had the exact same setup in each of those vehicles, which would produce louder bass at the driver's seat?

hatch suv or truck ive seen em all get really loud jus depends on how crafting you are. but CRX's seem to be pretty easy to get loud along with geo metros

My old hatchback was very loud with cheap equipment. So I would say hatch. SUV' s get loud as well.

it seems like my system was louder in my Volvo 960 than in the 4runnner, maybe because my volvo electrical system is a little stronger, i dont know, but it seemed louder to me, it also sounded better too

Ok, so from what I gather cars are the hardest to get strong bass in... Dynamat in the truck would make it much louder, right? Possibly leveling the playing field...

I've always heard trunk cars are difuclt to get loud in sipmly becuase of cancellation and whatnot. I run 2 sealed 12" Type-r's in a trunk, firing away from the cab. I deadened (sp?) the trunk and they're getting about 550W daily. It gets decently loud but its nothing to make people bow down.

Explorers and Jeeps (Cherokee) are pretty easy to get loud in. My systems arent that loud until I sell them to people in the smaller SUVs. I have an Expedition by the way.

IMO...

SPL: Van > SUV > Station Wagon > Hatchback > Truck > Sedan

SQ: Truck > Hatchback > Station Wagon > SUV > Van > Sedan

The only benefit of owning a sedan is the challenge. =\
