Which vehicle type is better for bass?

IMO...SPL: Van > SUV > Station Wagon > Hatchback > Truck > Sedan

SQ: Truck > Hatchback > Station Wagon > SUV > Van > Sedan

The only benefit of owning a sedan is the challenge. =\
I would disagree with the SQ choices //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif I don't see any apparent disadvantage between a truck and a van for SQ, not any more than a hatch or a wagon...

However, for SPL, a wall in a full size cargo van is hard to argue with //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

IMO, you shouldn't choose your vehicle based on its acoustic performance unless you're a serious competitor ...
x2...

The original question was somewhat flawed in that respect; if I was a serious SPL competitor, I wouldn't use the same setup I have now, I'd be running a wall or an 80+ cubic foot bandpass. Put the single 12" I have in a CRX, my 136 and some change jumps up in the 140 terriority. But then again, a CRX could fit in the airspace I have to pressurize //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
