Which Sub?

Posting for a buddy of mine.

He has a PPI BA 5000.1

4 ohms: 1200 watts x 1 chan.

2 ohms: 1700 watts x 1 chan.

1 ohm: 2500 watts x 1 chan.

(Specs from Sonic)

Anyways he is going to buy either an HDC312 or an HDS312. Would running a single HDC312 be okay or should he just go with the HDS?

That's what I assumed. I was trying to explain to him that they're good budget amps but not exactly what they say they are.

Nothings wrong with soundqubed but if he can afford a HDC3 then there's no reason for him not to get a better built/more efficient sub for basically the same price (FI BL or the SSA ICON).

Of course he does... If your gonna hook a friend up you want his setup to blow his ******* mind with awwww... If not the soundrive sub get him to buy a fi ssd-el 12....
