Which Sub Is Better?

I am looking to buy one 12" sub for my new car. I Have been looking at the Alpine Type-R's for some time, But I have decided I would like to go with something that has good SQ and can hit low and hard. I have been looking at the Alpine Type-X as well as the Fi.Q. It would be appreciated if I could get some opinions about the pros and cons of both of these subs as well as which would hit harder. Alpine type R and X will not give you SQ, it's not designed for a flat response.

FiQ iwll go okay. I would go with a IDQ or IDmax

Ive had an r but sold it for my treo tr 12 and love it. The r is an spl driver so if sq is what you want than dont get it. I dont know much about the x but save money and get another sub.

Im not sure on the amp yet... any recomendations would be nice... as for the enclosure I would have a seal one for either

I'd look into the CSS and Exodus drivers as well...they don't have the fanboy following on places such as this, but they're solid speakers.
