TC-9 motor: Where to get recone?

I know Fi does it...but doesn't it take like months? And aren't they really hard to get a hold of? Looking to recone my TC-9 motor to a D2...

Shoot them an email every few days until you get ahold of them. Maybe try to get in touch with woofercooker, see if he has the parts to build you a recone. Or Teampsi. It will probly be cheaper to buy the recone and do it yourself rather than ship the sub out.

If you want, I can help you/show you how to recone it, I did my Shocker Super Extreme and it came out good.

elemental designs used the TC-9 motor on it's old flatcone A series subs, you may contact them to see if they have anything they can offer.

Mike (Woofercooker) can do it.

I've re-coned them before too, but I only do re-cones for other brands if I'm building the whole sub here at the shop.

Scott at Fi helped me build a sub w/ my rl-p motor and he did a great job. I just told him what alignment it'll be placed in and how many wattage i have for it at a certain load. I really wish the sub I have now is mass-made.
