which sub for the best bass

im looking at 2 types of subs the ALPINE SWX-1243D 12" TYPE X 3000W and the Pioneer Premier TS-W3001D2 3000W, i mite get two of them so whats the better sub the Pioneer is about half the price of the xtype thanks

no i hade both and i was giving my op.

"Built better and louder" is a comparison. The type-x was designed with SQ in mind, the 5000SPL (and 3000SPL as well) were built to get very loud. Two totally different directions.

OP needs to tell us if he wants sound quality, or SPL... Then a recommendation can be made.

If he were looking for SPL, I would def. recommend the 3001's (Keep in mind they are rated at 1kw RMS)
