Sorry, don't understand. Can you rephrase the question?Sweet I was just thinking though, that the movement could aslo be cause by the other 4 speakers, couldn't it, due to them being located on metal?

HOLY CRAP! That HDS312 hits HARD. Lol, might be too hard, maybe I should go with just the HDS212 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifI think that having just a custom box with it might be enough for me. I like my mirriors, and here I was thinking about getting a 15 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
Here is a HDS212, but the amp is a Sound Stream LS1110 (5 Channel) Can't find it though
big 3 upgrade will help any vehicle's electrical system and its not that hard to do at all. If you get a good efficient amp, it shouldnt matter that much. You buy cheap chinese made amps, you'll have to pay for it in electrical upgrades. A soundqubed q1200.1 would be fine with just the big 3.Only thing I would fear about having the HDS312 is having to worry about the power draw. I do not want to have to do the Big 3, etc.
By movement, I mean how much the sub is moving...meaning it got loud off that SS amp.I meant
Couldn't those movements and vibrations also have been cause by the door speakers, since it is closer to the fron and on direct metal?
The big three on the 1st Gen TSX is a little bit of a pain, btu I should be able to manage. The Positive on the Alternator is pretty crammed in the engine bay. It has been done, but seems to be a bit of a hassle compared to other vehicles. However, I could do it, just will take longer.big 3 upgrade will help any vehicle's electrical system and its not that hard to do at all. That makes sense, maybe having the HDS312 wouldn't be a bad idea. I would also need a new wiring kit, I am sitting with 4AWG wire for the power and the ground.Rule of thumb. Always have more bass than you need. You can always turn it down either with gains or sub level. A sub sitting on its lazy *ss all day will live longer than a sub that's pushed hard every day. Same rule with amps. Plus its always fun to demo to friends and strangers and they ask woah you got two 15s back there? you answer nope, its just one 12
he used these designs *OFFICIAL* Free Ported Box Plans (56k NO!!) - Dodge SRT Forum I think its the 2.5 cubic feet @ 32hz one.
Agreed:boink:
True. That is also why I am thinking about just doing the HDS212 with a custom box. It might not be the HDS312, but it seems like it will do better than my 2 12s in the pre-fab. The custom box and the sub might come around $180, and I just install it, so it seems more into my price range of a beginning college student.First things first. List your stuff for sale somewhere, see if you can sell it. I'm guessing if you can't, you won't be getting a bigger amp or the HDS300.
