Which set of 12s would be better? Jl w3v3 12 or dd audio 1100 series 12?

First set are a DD audio 1112 (https://ddaudio.com/1100-series/hi-def-tuned/1112/)series 4 ohm.
Second set are the Jl audio 12 w3v3 4 ohm
https://www.crutchfield.com/p_13612W3V34/JL-Audio-12W3v3-4.html. just need a bit of input on which I should get. Amp I'll be using is the Rockford Fosgate R2-1200X1.
Box will be determined by the sub I get.

Depends on what you're trying to accomplish. For ported/sql enclosures, I'd lean toward DD and for sealed, I'd lean toward JL. Since enclosure has such a large impact on sound, I'd decide on what enclosure works best for you, then decide on the proper sub.

Thank you, I'm leaning in the ported sql direction. I've just been back and forth with these 2 sets I've jl before, however I've never been able to listen the dd audio set.

Ever hear of ATOMIC? I used to use those decades ago...the Apocolypse 12 was a wicked sub!!

Out of those 2. I would go JL. I have used the DD 1100's and they are nothing to write home about. They are a entry level sub and perform like an entry level sub.

I'm looking at about 750 for the 2 subs together. I know the jls got a bit more expensive. But that the round about area I'm going.

Then I'd probably lean toward the DDs. There are a ton of options out there. Alpine Type S or R, Dayton has several good subs, it's an endless list.

If you can find some, the CDT QES-1220 subs are clean and loud.
