Put your money up ***.

I'm off next weekend building the box.

I'm far from broke **** wad.

I bought mids tweeters a new amp I didn't need sold the sub and the amp is pending and I'm buying a amp this weekend and caps next week..

I haven't had time to really do much but the mids are in and tweeters are going in tomorrow so is the 4 runs of 1/0..

Vital or sundown both look good. Now I do not have a dog in the fight but I’ve personally heard hertz truck on a 9k and with the two vitals your not going to touch 4 18s on the meter. Yeah you might do good but this reminds me of the kid in high school with a muffler tip and k&n air filter in a 94 civic trying to race the kid with the hellcat. Either way I’m down to see where this goes:popcorn:

Metering is about coupling and loading. I have half the cabin and know how to find the resonant frequency. 160 no doubt. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

He's not even the loudest in his class by 6db

If you can do 160s on two subs with 7k I’ll be hella impressed but being musical and loud are two very different things in my book and his checks off both. 160s on music=life changing. 160 at 45-50hz burps=//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

You call not being able to play above 55 musical? Plot the FR and I'll plot mine. We have different cabins with very different acoustics. If he tried to meter where my can peaks he be as far behind as I would in the same situation.ill wager I'll still do high 150s tuned to 38

Fvck my door speakers crossed at 60hz, I have friends that play 155db+ at 45hz+ and that shlt is not for me. I need 20hz-40hz at 155+ and 40-50hz 150db+.

Real men tune to 27:drool:
I know, most people who say fvck lows are the ones who can’t play them and just unload so they hate

Your woofers box tune and wavelength compliment your cabin's acoustics.

I can tell you right now even if you double power you're not going to gain the 3 bd. you're not going to get over 160 unless you put 2 more amplifiers in your car and even need you might be 159.5 or so. You just won't gain the 3db.

On the other hand my car/tune is going to go hand in hand because it's small and is going to resonate high. It would be really hard for me to try to pressure down low but I can with a **** ton box space but it naturally won't be nearly as efficent.

Like I said I'll give you 2 weeks to PUT up of shut up.

Or people who like to listen to, you know, actual music. There was a guy up here doing a 160

Pair of 18's doing 160 whatsoever in a sedan on 7K would be quite a feat (if you didn't get yourself into "extreme" modifications. The ones I've seen doing 60 in street type classes use a fair bit more power.

I'd give 50/50 odds that we see OP post any numbers at all this year.

I was more or less trolling. Personally though I like a box that plays really strong 25-40 and I’m willing to sacrifice above that. But what I listen to is not what you listen to etc..... I like that wow look when giving a demo and dropping a 26hz note with authority. Average person 32-35 isn’t bad. I really do not give a fvck about metering or numbers though. If it sounds good and loud and I’m only doing mid 140s it really doesn’t matter. Numbers are awesome yes. But to me it always turns into a d|ck swinging contest and I’m in it for fun and to meet new people. Not all but almost every person I meet that’s numbers only is a doucheeeee. I met a guy in my town with two team ssa 18s and guys nothing but a me me me look at me kinda guy. I’d rather chill with good vibes and have fun than squeak 10ths out of a meter.
