when sub hits hard the head unit shuts off

i was jsut being a smartass..i even pm him when i saw he took the 4 guage comment seriously...lol..

anyway, i too think it's a loose connection somewhere. did u use an install harness or did u hardwire the hu in?

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/peace.gif.2db28b618ed8d1964ebbe2f5021d2c39.gif

i hard wired the hu in and i didnt think when you said 4 gauge and i went the the hardware store and saw 4 gauge wir and was like thats rediculiously to big so i got 10 gauge and ran that to the head unit and now the volume will go up to like 24 until the sub hit really hard and the head unit shuts off so i guess some of the problem is fixed but i would still like it to go louder
