whats better or are they worth it

Hifonics and AudioPipe offer decent, budget friendly options.

- Do they put out rated power? I don't know. I'd have to see bench tests.

- Are they power hungry? Are you asking whether you can run 1,800 watts without electrical upgrades? If so, no you can't.

- Are they worth it? Depends on where you buy them, how much they cost and whether they're covered by a warranty.

- What's better? All kinds of stuff.

hey i have a the AP1500 and cant be happier with it, have it pushing a DC LVL 4 15" and its doing rated if not more, the sub is loving this amp, i have stock electrical and interior lights only dim when AC is on high at a stop light, it gets hot after awhile but its also like 103 here lol

with anything 1500rms ur going to have to do power upgrades what is it going in, big 3 def may need battery etc. need to know car you might have a 70 amp alt up to 130 plus stock makes a big difference

if ur worried about current draw then Cadence A7 + HC Car Amplifier - eBay (item 320550254399 end time Jun-24-10 19:05:37 PDT)

one of the most effecient amps i have every used built by zed audio 1400rms at 1 ohm 80 amp fuse dosent draw that much power

or

MMATS PRO AUDIO D1500.1 AMPLIFIER - eBay (item 180522891861 end time Jun-26-10 14:48:32 PDT)

mmats amp with its 120v rails very effecient 80 amp fuse made in usa
Look I know fuses will do double their rated current for a long time before they blow so technically it's possible for a split second on music but, 1400w / 80 amps = 17.5v @ 100% efficiency. This seems like quite a stretch once you factor in the actual voltage they will see and efficiency. 1000w is pretty reasonable. 1400? not so much.

built by zed audio
Cadence A7CH was NOT made by Zed. Designed by a guy who used to work with him. Still a highly regarded "cheater" amp. Well known for being well built grossly under-rated, and efficient.

Oh and as to the topic. Ppl have good luck with both. Solid budget amps.

SAZ-1000D

look 75 amp of fuses well 75 times 14 is 1000 rms guess that amp is 100 percent effecient wait, at 4 ohm its only 84 percent a lot less then cadence and mmats so im guessing 60 to 65 percent effecient at 1 ohm so id say you get 600rms right
