Then also, since you claim you've posted useful things in this topic (that was clearly a lie) post what those two amps' 1 ohm efficiency rating is, so we can accurately see how long the fuse would last on a sine wave. (After all, who is an amp manufacturer to tell the end user what duty cycle they can use their amp at to get rated output?)

I have clamped the MMats 3000.1d, and these were my results @ 3.9 ohm (Reactive Impedance), Nominal load was 1ohm, and clamped a total of 1492 watts...then I later clamped it again @ a (React. Impedance) of 1.3 ohms, with a nominal load of .5 and it clamped a nice 3148 watts.....so yes they are still as good as they used to be if not better.

I will be recieving this week the Maxx Link and will be linking 2 MMats 2000.1d and will let you know the results of the clamping...if your interested.

mclerico does get a bit pushy at times, but the guy definitely has good intentions. He links to the same equipment quite a bit, but most of the guys who actually offer advice are guilty of the same thing.

Anyway, the guy does know what he's talking about most of the time. It's just that a lot of his decent advice is buried within posts that contain a hell of a lot of links to equipment. This causes a lot of people to overlook some of the things he has to say.

and yes cadence makes cheater amps so its rated at 25 watts at 4 ohm buddy, so you can put 20 of them in your trunk and still be in the 0-600 class.

read and the a5 and a7 are from the same line same amp just one runs at 2 ohm and the a7 runs at 1 ohm same ratings at 4 ohm

My A7 is putting 1406 watts into a 1 ohm load with 13.0 volts of power.

12 volt testing yielded 1136 watts into 1 ohm

my a7hc does 1428 at 1 ohm mono @ 14.4 volts

this was off an impedence weight and a steady 14.4 volts.

why dont you just listen, as i said i dont care what sundowns 1 ohm load is i just posted 2 other amps the opti 4000d which is a well respected korean amp on these forums. class d and it does how much at 1 ohm

as i stated before most class d amps do between 60 to 75 percent at 1 ohm, when you say a/b do 50 to 60 percent thats at 4 ohm, thats why most a/b amps dont go below 2 ohm because of the huge drop between 2 ohm and 1 ohm, thats why when people run there amps at .5 ohm the amount of power needed goes way up because the effeciency goes waaaaaay down.

and like i said it was no way saying sundown is a bad company etc, i love their products and jacob might be one of the best guys in the industry to deal with, thats why really they move ahead of other companies is customer service,

but his amp has 75 amps of fuses so using your method at 1000 percent 4 ohm effeciency it is 14x75= 1050 and at 84 percent effeciency which its not running at 1 ohm more like 60 to 70 its still only produces then 860 watts, hmmmmmm it dosent work when we all now the amp has been known to do more then 1000 watts plus

4 ohm nominal = 520 watts @ 88% efficiency (voltage fell from 14.3v, to 14.1v)

2 ohm nominal = 960 watts @ 84% efficiency (voltage fell from 14.3v, to 13.7v)

1 ohm nominal = 1635 watts @ 75% efficiency (voltage fell from 14.3v, to 12.8v)

.5 ohm nominal = 1890 watts @ 71% efficiency (voltage fell from 14.3v, to 12.8v)

.35 ohm nominal = 2245 watts @ 65% efficiency (voltage fell from 14.3v, to 12.8v)

amplifier did fine @ .35 with tones and music with the added battery

saz1500d deficiency and nominal, this is not before rise so i am assuming most likely, when .5 ohms nomial after rise it was at 1 ohm 1 ohm was prob at 1.5 etc.

and the saz15000d starts off at 4 ohm at 88 percent when the saz1000 starts off at 84 percent so hmmmmmmm

The 3 x 25 amp fusing posted on the Sundown website under SAZ-1000d is a type o, it has 3 x 30 amp fuses just like the rest of the Zenon based 1k's for the second time , for what it's worth , personally I could give a sh!t either way , but carry on.

You proved yourself wrong. Had you read it, you'd see that they said 95% efficiencies were attainable with class d but realistically 80-90% is practical. Why you may ask? The narrower the pass band the amplifier reproduces the more efficient it becomes. That's not good for reproducing music. That's why they included the "typical" percentages because usually class d amps fall in that range when it is capable of reproducing between 1-250hz. You proved yourself wrong, but of course you do not know that. LITERALLY NOWHERE did you show that any amp was 95% efficient.

idk for a fact but thats why i posted the other 2 amps the lanzar and kenwoods showing much lower 1 ohm rating, i have never used a saz-1000d only the 3000d and sae-1200d, there was also a couple heatsinks etc so im not sure all about that. maybe it was changed etc cause even the manual says 25x3
