Audison VRX 1.500 Overheating?

Has anyone had any experience with this amp? It keeps going into safety mode. I'm thinking it's overheating because it gets hot enough that you can barley touch it, but a few people have told me thats normal apparently.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif Could it be anything else?
