What Sub Will Hit A Good 500w?

Got a kenwood kac-8151D and it is rated 500w @ 1 ohm. All i know that hits 500w @ 1 ohm right now is one 12" type r. Wat else out there in the market can do 500?

money is not an issue, ill just see what anyone says and do the research myself, and see if it matches my needs.

I have a MTX 12" 8500 for sale,it will pound like a mule with just 500w

I would dissagreee on the D6 reccomendation,it needs 800+W to get cookin

man i picked up one of these yesterday from sonicelectronix.com they are not to far from my home. really nice people to deal with. $184 out the door...

my local stereo shop wants $399 for one...

man this one diamond d612d4 hits cleaner and harder than the 2x 12 alpine type r's that went out.

type r's are getting serviced now, and if they replace them they will be for sale here so i can get another d612d4. sick sub im pushing about 750watts to it now. and it takes as much volume as my ears can handle....

the subs rms is 800 max is 1200...

oh and sonic offers a 1 year warranty....

The list is endless... you dont need to run a sub at or near RMS for it to be loud. 500w is a lot for daily.

you and my local Diamond dealer are on crack,my guy wants 349.99 for a single 12I think I paid 330 for 2 delivered to my door from hifisoundconnection,granted no warrenty but they both have been bumping hard for a year now with no issues
