yea its a 8812.6 i have 2 of those they are very good subs . i think they are 500rms and 1000 peak

did they make them in d-2 or d-4? can a box tune to 32 hz be ok. my box is 2 cubic feet net. i have a mag in there now i hope this person gets back to me.

yea, it might b this kid another member meet up with a few months back to buy . the subs coils where readin all over the place. i mean for 50.00 its worth the 10 min drive. there is a mall i can meet him at that will b busy and sh it. i will just free air the sub one side at a time.

Reading all over the place has to do with improperly setting up the DMM. Any sub will read all over the place if you test impedance, and not resistance. That's why sub manufacturers list a DC Resistance, for VCs, even though speakers are powered with AC.

Ok i have a update, i got to talk with the guy with the subs today. i was gona meet up with him tomrrow but i called him back and said lets do it today. keep in mind its raining and its gona rain for the rest of the week threw the weekend. i brought my dmm and a few screw drivers with me. first the subs look to b in great shape. they where single ohm sub's. i check them with a dmm one said like 5.75 and the othere sub said like 7 ohms or so. i passed and the box he had was a sealed box that u can get from bestbuy. i think the subs where the ones that you can buy at best buy. im sure there good subs for what they are i just think he got them for 100.00. some times they have a buy one get one deal and he must of got that. he lives right near best buy thats where we meet up today. even if they read fine i would of not paid more then 50 for the pair. it was worth a try i guess.
