what should I be asking a box builder?

~3.89ft^3 before sub/port displacement...nowhere near big enough for a pair of 12's. It'd be good for a pair of 10's though, or a single 12.
I have room width wide. Lets say we add 5-8"s to the width, will that be better?

yeah 40"s is almost double the width... the box wont fit. I gave these measurements because my trunk sort of curves in at the end and with this box size it fits nicely in between that curve. If I move it up a bit I can get some more length let me go measure right now

PM me or post here how much you would charge for a basic ported box for 2 12s.
I asked him about sealant inside the box he said he could use liquid nail for free, and if thats not good I'm sure I could pay a little extra to get something better. Whats a good port size?
I use Liquid Nails glue and then use a waterproof sealant. Ill pass on the offer. Dont think I would make much money because of the shipping charges to Canada.
