I am a beginner on car audio, but here is my system so far!

-Pioneer Premier DEH-P770MP CD/MP3 Player

-2 Powerbass Xtreme: Evolution Series (ES572Xv.2) 5x7" 2-Way Coaxial Speakers In Side Panels

-2 Powerbase Xtreme: Evolution Series (ES572X) 5x7" 2-Way Coaxial Speakers In Back Panel

-JL Audio 300/2 Amp

-2 JL Audio 10w1v2 Subwoofer Drivers

-Pioneer CD-IB100 iPod Adapter and 60GB iPod Photo should be installed by Christmas, looks like I will have to ask for the iPod for Xmas since Coolizm ripped me off. Dang Scammers.

pros/cons about your set-up, how you like it, etc: Very affordable system(Everything cost me 170 including install!, most of the subs I've had before cost more than this alone), easy on my ears, you can actually somewhat hear the music(compared to my old crazy spl setups)

purpose (IE: spl): Good sub bass fill... Fill in the lows to make my music sound good.

stock head unit - if it works why get aftermarket? I've had an Alpine deck and my stock sounds just as good.
