They are priced around the same as an IDMAX. It doesn't have as much output as the IDMAX, but to my ears, they sound more musical. Definitely a good sub to compare to the IDMAX. I had my IDMAX in an IB setup too, so it's not like I'm comparing it to an IDMAX in a piss poor 4.0 cubic feet ported box tuned to 50hz. lol.

The DSP on the SX amps are wonderful...plus w/ the SXRC I can set gains up front. I love the amps; just big for my prior installs, but I think I might be able to fit 'em pretty easily now.

I'd say without hesitation they're the best amps I've used to date.
