im kind of new here, so im not too sure if its been done before, but i havent came up with any results of a thread similar to this.

what kind of set-up is CA.com running? try to include neccesary details about your:

alternator:

battery:

subwoofer(s):

front speakers:

rear speakers:

amp(s):

capacitor:

total RMS watts:

pros/cons about your set-up, how you like it, etc:

purpose (IE: spl):

if you have/had more than a single setup, post away. copy and patse the guidelines

alternator: Mean Green 120 H/O (custom wound)

battery: Interstate Megatron

subwoofer(s): (2) JL 8W7

amp(s): 500/1 & 300/4

capacitor: Never!

total RMS watts: 800W RMS

pros/cons about your set-up, how you like it, etc: Clean, Loud, Small/Stock look.

purpose (IE: spl): Driving for SQL more than anything else. I need to add a set of component tweeters to bring my highs to the right sweet spots.

Recomended additions to the list -

Components Front/Rear: JL XR650CSi / JL XR690CXi

Headunit: Kenwood KDC-X889

alternator: Stock 70 amp Honda

battery: Old cheap Autolite

subwoofer(s): 2 12" 2005 Pioneer TS-W306C

front speakers: Cadence CWM-6 6.5"

rear speakers: None

amp(s): Rockford Fosgate 1000bd & 500x

capacitor: NONE

total RMS watts: 1500 watts

pros/cons about your set-up, how you like it, etc: I love my setup. Did not cost that much. The biggest con is that I have lots of rattle, but what can I expect it's been in alot of accidents and it does have alot of body work done to it. The biggest pro is that I think it is one of my most thought out setups and opened me up to the car audio world.

purpose (IE: spl): My purpose of my setup is to be loud but at the same time have that good low hummmmm to the bass. I always loved to hear the highs loud and clear also not just boring BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP of old bass.

alternator: Toyota 4Runner Stock

battery: Die Hard

subwoofer(s): 15" Audiobahn Immortal (for sale)

front speakers: 6 1/2" Pioneer

rear speakers: 5 1/4 " Pioneer

amp(s): Boss RipD3 (for sale)

capacitor: Kole 2.5 Farad (for sale)

total RMS watts:1000-1500

pros/cons about your set-up, how you like it, etc: Can't turn the system up too loud because my lights start dimming really bad. Need a better alternator. Boss amp is .5 ohm stable so it works well with the Quad 2 ohm immortal sub.

purpose (IE: spl): I just wanted some bass.

I am selling everything right now so pm me if you are interested, I really want to get rid of this stuff so I am willing to let this stuff go for pretty cheap. Boss amp has actually been great, it is .5 ohm stable and has never overheated or clipped on me. The cap actually did help with the dimming of the lights. I really want this stuff gone as soon as possible though, so pm me with offers, I need this stuff gone ASAP. Check my sig, I have some other stuff for sale also. I will let this stuff go for cheap because I am desperate for money right now, I actually can't drive my car and had to turn my cell phone off because I don't have money. So if any of you want this stuff let me know, I will let it go for cheap.

Alternator: Stock

battery: Duralast

subwoofer(s): 1 Adire Audio Tempest

front speakers: CDT cl-4

rear speakers: n/a

amp(s): Profile ca800

capacitor: n/a

total RMS watts: 600 wrms

pros/cons about your set-up, how you like it, etc: I really like my current setup, only thing I dislike is its hard to try and have the front 4's in the dash keep up with the tempest. Ill have to glass some kickpanels for sure...I just dont feel like it.

purpose (IE: spl): sql I guess

alternator: stock

battery: stock

subwoofer(s): 12" polk momo (gonna replace with an IDQ)

front speakers: Rainbow SLC 165 mids

rear speakers: none

amp(s): frontstage - cadence z4000 sub - directed audio 750d

capacitor: none

total RMS watts: 575

pros/cons about your set-up, how you like it, etc: its pretty good for the money. also the wiring is very messy right now. i haven't had any time to clean it up. oh well.

purpose (IE: spl): SQ all the way.

oh you forgot to add the HU: Eclipse cd8455

:

alternator:200 amp alt from DB electrical

battery:Stinger power2 sp100

subwoofer(s):Two Kicker L7's 12's

front speakers:phoenix gold Ti elite 5.25

rear speakers:phoenix gold Ti elite 5.25

amp(s):two phoenix gold xenon 200.4, one for mids/tweets one for subs

capacitor: a LA half cap on each amp.

total RMS watts:According to birth sheets from amps about 1750

pros/cons about your set-up, how you like it, etc: I really like my set up, except for the subs. i want the pheonix gold TI elite 9" midbass, to make a complete 3 way for front and rear. My car is noisy so i lose most staging/imaging to roadnoise anyways...and i like things loud, but very clean. The other thing im trying to save $ for is some soundsplinter rl-p 15's, because i dont really like my subs.

purpose (IE: spl): I just go for SQL, its a daily driver that i use to commute 130 miles a day in.. and i like to jam out while i drive.

Oh and an eclipse 8454 HU
