My friend has a '97 grand prix gtp with the upgraded sound system(both 6x9 and 4" speaker on rear deck) We are trying to replace these speakers with some alpine 6x9's, but we can't figure out how to get the rear speaker grilles off, or do you have to take off the whole decklid? Does anyone have any expirence with this? THANKS!

You do have to take the whole rear deck panel off, which is a real pain, because you have to remove the back seat (both the seat and the seat back) before you can remove the panel. Have fun.

oh its not that hard! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Pull the seat out, the part you sit on. then pull the back out,t hen pull the deck cover off... not that hard, just a little time consuming //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
