Read my previous posts. I know Mustangs were built to go fast but anything with a redneck stigma attached to it is just out of the question. I would get laughed at by everyone pulling up to da club in a Mustang //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
The lack of reliability is my #1 reason for not wanting one though.

Since when do mustangs have a redneck stigma attached to them?? Because the majority of mustang owners are white //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif I could see the redneck thing if i suggested a lifted 84 Ford F-150 w/ mudding tires on it.

And I'm sure everyone is gonna cheer when u pull up in an eclipse at the club. Especially if u want it to run low 1/4 mile times its gonna have to get pretty well stripped down to get in the 10-9 sec times.

Cars like that aren't something that you drive everyday. I'm sure a 4g63 will be fully reliable w/ high boost on it daily too. A stang w/ a supercharged 383 will be a fully streetable car and the engine won't have any daily issues.

19 slices of pizza in a single sitting after playing a triple header in baseball when i was 17.

Also put down a 12 pack of hot dogs + buns @ a friends house cuz he said i couldnt do it.

Go with the eclipse, throw pistons and rods in the 4g63, slicks, gt35R, supporting fuel mods, 20+ pounds, good tune. Your in the 10's with a 1.6 60'

Not sure about the lying part as I do not know him personally but I do know he has issues reading due the fact I posted 3+ times about not being interested in a Mustang //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I will look into the stuff you mentioned thanks.

Lots of cars make it to high miles but compare the amount of Fords to Hondas on the road with 300k+ you will see a huge difference. Plus it probably cost the Ford owners major money to keep them running after things breaking down compared to regular oil changes and tune ups on the Honda.
Like I said I have no problem with American cars just don't trust spending my hard earned money on them.

As for Fast and the Furious, I think most kids act that way. I am a grown man spending my money on this so it's not a little project being funded by my daddy.

Now on to the car.. I went an drove this today and fell in love with it! Granted it's not the best color and the rims are horrid but that only helps turn it into more of a monster sleeper!

Offered 13k, if he comes back with less than 14k it will be mine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I have also been looking at this kit, has anyone used Turbo-Kits.com before? Found this one http://www.turbo-kits.com/eclipse_turbo_kits.html and figure I can probably pull it off on a long weekend if I take a Friday off.

Going to post on Craigslist and see if I can find someone local to help me out who has done them before if not my GF's dad does some of his own car work and can probably help along with the directions I think it is very doable.

450hp? Anyone have a clue what type of 1/4 time that would bring?
You just cant slap a turbo on a car and think it going to be fast....

First is a front wheel drive car, all its going to is spin.

Second you will need to upgrade axles, build the motor, clutch, ******, ect and your still going to spin.

Third its going to break down all the time, I know Ive been there and done it.

As for 1/4mile times, after your done spinning half way down the track you will be lucky to get into the 14s.

Find a car thats made for a turbo, either all wheel drive or rear wheel drive. Front wheel drive cars are not made for a daily drivin track car.

I don't have issues reading, just didn't feel like reading through 7+ pages before i posted in this thread. I was just throwing out combos that would work with the rough info I thought you were looking for.

Btw MOT is a hater. All he does is //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif when i post.
