What 8" sub has good lows?

I had a 8W7 once and I loved it. Very clean sounding and gets pretty loud and the lows are pleasing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'll be getting 2 for my truck or tens, which ever will fit under my backseat.

That box sounds way too big to me. In fact my pair are in a smaller one. Tuned higher too. .6cf tuned in the 38-40 hz range results in a much smaller box and a much flatter response. It's still able to get really low as well. I've got 800+ watts on my pair and they hit the lows really well. Sound great doing it, too. For the price (when they were available) you'd be hard pressed to beat these boys. We'll see what the new model has in store. I'll probably be ordering a pair or two when they come out.

My AA 8's are in the 1.2^3 @40Hz "spec" box and they hit low and get respectably loud. VERY impressed with them. Giving them about 1000watts and they take it no sweat. Had to do more deadening as panels were rattling and rearview mirror shakes pretty good.

I'm also waiting to see the new line up, specifically the Havoc //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

I had mine previously in .6 cubes as well and wasnt really impressed. I did lose some of the flat response but gained tremendously in output and low end extension...

The F3 went down by about 2 Hz. You got about 3dB right at the tuning freq but its a really peaky output. You honestly sacrificed a lot in terms of SQ. With that size box, you could get more output by simply adding a second driver and the extra power that a decent mono amp would give you at the lower load and still retain your nice flat response.
