you could take a look at a old school us amps us400 or us400x that would over power the heck out of that sub in fact it would love it and sound insanly nice doing so.... around that budget... prolly closer to 350+sh off ebay.... sometimes they can be had for deals tho... Personally i would look into old school zapco or us amps

I wouldn't say that MT's are bar setters as in my experiences with them... while potentially loud as ****, they DEFINATLY leave alot to be desired. (IMO)

I'm having some trouble deciding between an Orion 1200D and a XT4000D.

The orion would save me a good bit of money, but how good it is compared to the XT4000D.

Also the NINe.1 doesn't look like a bad choice either.

honestly buddy, just pick whichever one is cheapest and buy it. You won't hear a audible difference betwenn 1-200 watts. If you're competing now, you may hit a little higher but not by much.So please just pick an amp and let us know what you think about the mag 15. I have mine in a 3.7@27 box off 1000 rms and love it.

I decided on the Orion 1200D because it seems like a very solid Amp for quite a bit cheaper.
