weird problem with alarm, can anyone help?

ok, so I got back from NC to KS where the temperature at night has been well below 0...and 3 nights in a row, around 4am I will hear my alarm go off sounding wierd as hell..sounds like it's just dying, and the lights don't light up hardly at all. Then when I go out there, I hear clicking like the door locks are clicking, then when I finally get inside of it, the only thing I can do to make it go off is turn the ignition on, and leave it. Then I have to jump it everyday, today i'm going to just disconnect the ground wire on the alarm and remote start, until I can figure out what's causing this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

bad batttery maybe...and the alarm's going crazy cause of it? I'd get that battery checked out & make sure your wires are clean and stuff.

yeah, i'm I d/c the alarm today and if it dies tonight for some odd reason I will buy a new battery, probably a yellow top. But it's the wierdest thing I've ever seen, it'll just go off sounding like a bird, and my lights that are supposed to flash just sit there lit up really dim and it makes a crazy clicking noise until I turn the ignition on. It blows my mind.
