on axis?

I have a 4runner with boston pro 6.5" that I am installing in the factory door locations with the midrange in the bottom of the door and the tweeter on the a pillar. Should I set the crossover to on or off axis? Also I think I may need to reground my head unit. Any comments on how to do this? (it is currently factory mounted.)

just move the ground to a piece of metal on the frame and make sure its clean and secure.

Set it to off axis.
