want a sub that hits DEEP.

ok. ive heard type r's at 600Watts each and its loud. im not really looking for loud id rather have deep.

i realize that you cant have deep with out loud, but im looking for a sub that will do more then get loud.

any way, i have never heard a type R in a proper box.

the set up i installed (with a full dynamat in the trunk) was this.

the subs were 12's wired to 1 ohm to a RF Model: P1000-1BD

they were in a Qlogic bandpass box. one sub in each box

box model:QB-112.3B

it was in a 2003 civic 4door.

i can get a type R with 4 year service plan for really cheap but i know there are better stuff out there. but will a type r in a custom built box get deeper then above?

i didnt install it i my car... it was in a fellow co-worker.

trust me it is loud though. and sounds better with Heavy metal rather then rap. but thats what he mostly listens to. double bass.
