Wall Build Log...

my bad.. didn't see the other pic lol.. that should get pretty loud
I certainly hope it does well. I guess the real benefit of this wall besides the affordability of it, is that these drivers sound great. And it really doesn't matter what numbers this wall puts up because I'll still love to listen to it on a daily basis.

Got both of them fully assembled...just need to clean up all of the extra adhesive.

Jesus tap-dancin' Christ I need to shave and get some matching clothes...

Looks good and cant wait to see the install , and dont take this the wrong way but, would have looked alot better if you flushed the baffle with the front of the box. Non the less keep the pics coming.

I know it looks better, and I have ALWAYS done my boxes flush on the front...but I've seen some people talking about this method being much stronger for the baffle, so I figured I'd give it a shot. If I don't like it, I can always modify it or just redo it all.

It does kinda bug me for it to be like this, but my boxes are never really built with beauty in mind...I never cover my boxes either //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Well you still could have done the baffle on the front, just cut a panel the size of the front of the box and just use your router and a tracer bit to cut out the port. Anyway, not that big of a deal, and keep us updated.

Well I went to home depot and got some 1.25" thick wooden dowels...I was thinking some extra bracing like this? I have essentially ~35" along the back that is not braced....between the full X brace I put between the subs and the back corner.

I really think that's the best bracing I can do to sturdy that back wall without intruding too much on the air flow through the port....what do you guys think?
