I am running a Punch BD1000.1 and need to replace 2 12's The amp is bridged to 1 ohm mono, so its roughly 1100 watts. Whats a good speaker that will work with this, I have blown 3 sets. I also am using a ported box.

You have a mono block amp bridged...

I suggest you lean away from car audio, sir.

well set your gain using a DMM for a start.

yeah before you buy anything else, figure out how you've been blowing your subs. i'm guessing by clipping them to death by setting the gains improperly

so how exactly do you bridge a mono (1 channel) amp???

and if you have blown 3 sets of subs already id set your amp properly or get out of car audio all together.

i'd go for the type r and just set your gain in the middle w/ no bass boost if it has it.

But yeah, blowing subs isn't a good thing.. Shows that YOU ****.

So many people post that thinking it makes there amp sound sooo powerful................
