could you put one box in first.. have two people lift the box and slide the second box under the first one.. I had the same thing happen and that worked for me.. just a thought...

I had thought about that too, but my cab tapers inward as it goes up, and the box just barely can make it as high as it needs to.

Thought I'd post some semi-finished pics...just need to do the trim around the box so it's nice and flush inside(which I'd hate to do since I can still see pretty well out my rearview mirror). I really hate how much the cab tapers inward towards the top, it really kills my ability to go really big.

Well, I had some issues getting the boxes in my truck, so I had to scrap that idea...I could have sworn everything measured out ok...oh well, stupid me for not being meticulous enough. So, today and yesterday I made a box for three of the MJ-18's instead. It's 14ft^3 tuned to 33-34hz...

I might be able to get some this weekend, but I don't have a camera that takes vids, unfortunately.

I went to my first comp yesterday and did a 147 flat on the TL, outlaw style. What sucks is that with this box my in car response peaks at 56hz, but I'm only 2db down at 40hz, and another 2db down at 35hz. So basically I have a pretty damn flat response, which for the comps is not a good thing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif I'm going to build a new box though, one with interchangable ports.
