I would just buy a moped and a set of headphones if I had to choose all over again, once you get a suv, kiss your stereo goodbuy if you have to travel a decent amount of miles for work. I go through about $125-$150 a WEEK in gas in my 6 banger suv. Not to mention you think because the suv you can put the 4 subs in it and get it louder, when that really wont be the case. ITs soo much easier to be way louder in a smaller car. MY gfs uncle I did a pretty cheap install with 2 12's in a 95 camaro z28 and it slams and is about 1k cheaper than my install in my suv and is just about as loud

Well Ive made my decision, and Eagle Talon TSi AWD. Let the saving begin!

And I think I can do an install of my 4 12" XXX's that I want in the rec ported box size.

And for someone that asked, id be powering each sub with one 12.1 RE amp, so about 1,500 RMS. So with all 4 XXX's, thats 6,000 RMS. Yes, insane, but yes, its what I want.

So the person that had the Talon, easy car to get loud in? Thats good, my corsica that I have right now sucks, I mean, look at my dB #'s in this car, im sure if I threw my current system in a Talon, it would be at least 140dB, but thats still not loud enough, im goin for a comp setup, which will also be my daily setup.

'98 Durango full time AWD: V8 5.9 L, 250 Horsepower @ 4200 RPM, 345 torque @3000 RPM. 25 gallon fuel tank, city/highway EPA gas milage: 12/17. Automatic. 0-60 mph time: about 9 sec. Kelly Blue Book listed MSRP: $17,000. Actual prices will be lower. with rear seats folded down and in, 88.0 cubic feet of cargo! (lots of room for the 150dB+ system im lookin for)
The durangos only put out 250hp? that blows for a 5.9l, my colorado does 240 0r 245(cant remember) and its a 3.5liter.

Sumthin like this, xcept the car will be blue, and the subs XXX's

ya think I should take out the back seat totally? I would kinda like it there, but I dont HAVE to have it.

I do not see any possible way you can do this because the depth is soo shallow, you will need the seat out, my friend has one and he thought he was going to do 2 15 l5's in it, well he did but hes running them at .75 per sub and hes only got 2 of them because thats about all he can fit in there, if he did a fiberglass box he could get a good amount more but hes running sealed and they are loud like that, but a waste of money because the box sucks for them. He would of been better off with 2 10's in a good size box
