Latley, I have been wanting an '95-'98 Eagle Talon TSi AWD. But even more recently, I have been thinking about a '98-'03 Dodge Durango. Now I know that it ultimetly comes down to what I want, but I want to hear some of your opinions, and which vehicle out of these 2 you would choose and why. I want a fast vehicle, that has a lots of room for my system. Heres some specs:

'96 Talon TSi AWD: 4 Cyl. 2.0 L turbo. 210 horsepower @ 6000 RPM, 216 torque @ 3000 RPM. Easily and cheaply modded. 15.9 gallon fuel tank, city/highway EPA gas milage: 19/25. Automatic. 0-60 mph time: about 6.8 sec. Kelly Blue Book listed MSRP: $7,540, Actual prices will be lower. cargo room: 16.6 cubic feet.

'98 Durango full time AWD: V8 5.9 L, 250 Horsepower @ 4200 RPM, 345 torque @3000 RPM. 25 gallon fuel tank, city/highway EPA gas milage: 12/17. Automatic. 0-60 mph time: about 9 sec. Kelly Blue Book listed MSRP: $17,000. Actual prices will be lower. with rear seats folded down and in, 88.0 cubic feet of cargo! (lots of room for the 150dB+ system im lookin for)

Building a 150dB+ system will slow down whatever vehicle you put it in - you're building it for the SPL lanes, not the dragway //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Well durangos dont get the advertised gas mileage. That is kind of like apples and oranges though. What do you want from the vehicle other than a 150+ system?

well... if i had the choice personally, i would get the AWD DSM hands down (a stick of course)

but if you're going for a 150 db system you'll probably want an SUV, not because thats the only route but because its more utilitarian. However i would highly advice you stay away from the durangos (the 5.9l is a panzy) they are crap to boot. look at some other avenues and then hold a pole, or ask for suggestion...

anyway stay away from the durango, what do you want in an suv? price? does it have to be domestic? etc. etc.
