the 4000 isn't to bad.. but the 802 is a REDICULOUS current hog. Literally one of, if not the, least efficient amps of its size. We clamped one and it was drawing about 250 amps to make a little over 1000 watts @ w/ imp rise @ 8 ohms or something.

^^^Yeah but the 802 is a high current amp made to run at low impeadances so I can see that.I am just saying that the HK line isn't bad just cause it has the MA Audio name.

well the Fusion NV2500Ds do 2100wrms in car each, and will run .5ohms daily!!! For cheap cheap!! So i will run those and going to upgrade to 8 more and have a total of 16 8s by mid summer, with 4 amps and 16 8s!!

i love my 5082hx..i run 4k from it daily and my voltage drops to 13.8..at the very lowest, idling at full tilt for a couple minutes

My friend i have used more ma audio products then almost everybody on here, and i like all the ma audio products, so im not scared to run there products!! I agree with you the name is just a name!!
