i got one...at my school this year...this kid was raving about his system ii think it was 3 kicker 10l5s...ne ways he goes to show me and i almost cried...each sub had a DIFFERENT box...like 1 cube...2 and then a like .7...ne ways he had a 4 channel amp for components powering them! what the ****!!!!! he was getting like 50 rms each **** sub...they didnt even move...i was like are they on? hes like "feel em, oh yea they're moving"...what a ****in moron he pissed me off cause all he did was continue to rave about his shit...o btw, his power wire was like 1/4 bare...his friend asked me last year why his shit wasnt working, he had his main power and main ground directly to the speaker!...no amp or nothing...****IN IDIOT!!!

I swear on everything that I witnessed what I'm about to say. In high school, (I'm 30 now BTW) I saw a dude take a vented truck box for two 10's......cut the holes out so that 12's would fit in it....and then here is the kicker.....wanted it sealed and had no wood....took an old license plate, put caulk all over the back of it, slapped it over the port, and nailed, yes nailed the license plate to the mdf box....... mokedaddy is in this fourm, and can vouch for this, because he witnessed as well.

funniest part is, as it started out as a truck box for 2 ten's, it went into a hatchback w/ 2 12's and a caulked on license plate.....beyond ghetto....just downright sad.

My first system was ghetto. The equipment was good but ghetto set-up. JL W3 15" powered by a concept 500m. The box i built up for it was crap. I nailed the wood together. Also the box had holes in it and crap. I fried the amp down the road b/c i wired it wrong. My friends pointed and laughed at my system. They had like 2 12's. Two months later i learned how to do a real system (Thanks Jonecon2001 and Illzfaded) And i bought a IA Lethal Injection 12" and then i made a good ported box. then i went to school and lets say i was doing the laughing when i beat my friends systems with one 12 with a brand they never heard of. One of them were sponsored by Boss.
