A while back, a kid had a shitty porsche, and had 2 lightning audio 10s in a plywood box, that had a face, and 2 sides.. lmao no back, no top, no bottom, and was ran with speaker wire from the battery, and some lightning audio amp.. sounded like shit ofcourse, but thought it was nice because he got a good deal on it (dunno what he paid).. that was just one..

one bad install I saw was in a 56 biscayne this dude had at my apartment complex back in 1994. he used telephone wire (the soild 4 conductor kind) for his main power to an old Profile 600 watt amp to one 15" Pyramid clear poly in a box made out of plywood. I was totally surprised it didnt catch on fire.

Old friend didn't have a lug to attach the ground in the trunk....so he duct taped it to the body.

Suprisingly didn't catch on fire before it was fixed.

Maybe he was trying to go IB...but got lazy and just went for finite baffle...

the most guetto thing ive seen is this kid rather than running the power through the firewall, he ran it up and out the hood and down through the door. whenever you closed the hood it piunched down on the wire. too much more of that and there wouldnt of been any casing left on the wire. i upped the gauge and helped the kid run the wire right.
