that reminds me this one time i was watchin cops in las veges and they had this dude pulled over with a candy painted hummer h2 with 26's the interior was done up to match and i guess he was a pimp or somethin he had all these girls id's and a note pad on where he dropped them off and all that they opend up the back hatch and he had a sony xplode 8'' sub it was funny just thought id share

wow oddly enough i've seen that same episode, where the guy had like 10 cell phones on the seat and the "system" inthe back was priceless, lol

Not to switch the subject around but my first system was when I purchased this plastic thunderform enclosure with 2 10" MTX subs I put under the back seat, I went to the Flea market and bought this 4X250 4 channel amp (Formula) was the brand, I parrelled my 2 stock, (Not infinity system) speakers together and my 2 left together and on the other 2 channles I hooked up the subs bridged mono, with a Pioneer HU from wallmart ($129) for a total cost of about $600.00 and it sounded awesome.

Now I have spent over $2000 in new equipment and it pounds a lot better but everyone keeps telling me I wasted my money, It was great before?

ummm, A kid from school, has a Civic like 1987 or whatever, performance stickers all over it and has nothing bumpers falling off, exhuast broken, somone backed into him,rust all over, barely runs, interior is dirty and ripped, the ground wire was coming off the bolt from the amp sliding around in the trunk, and the sub was blown by the sounds of things and he had white caulk all over the dust cap of it, old style type R, the box look liked it was dropped off a house, and his sub would rumbling and wine when turned down, he asked me to fix it and I told him drive the thing off a cliff and buy everything new, his battery would die, i think it looked like the stock orignal one, tiny piece of shit. I laughed my head off.

My first install involved 4 4" infinity kappa coax's installed in the roofliner, 2 6x9's in the lower doors and 2 10" 10W4s (OLD SCHOOL!) behind each seat... all stuffed into a rust bucket of a 1971 F250 single cab... I even had a custom seat... at least I wired everything correctly and screwed everything into the cab with 1" thick screws... ohh I forgot the kenwood amp running the 6x9s... haha it was sweet..

When I first had my Jeep Grand back in the day I couldnt wait for my friend to build my box over the weekend

So I came home put my Rockford (EWW) in cardboard box and coved the **** box in 4 rolls of duct tape and packaging tape..

Then sorta downfired it all weekend..

These are my first install... hehe notice the ground wire was wired to the body panel.... I wish I had more pics... the amps were in a mega ghetto location... anyways... you can't see the headliner well either...

I've seen a lot of ghetto rigged, but I'll just mention the one I HATED the most.

It was at dBDrag finals 2005 in Cleveland. It was the Audio Outlawz car, white, ghey, had like 5 shitty component sets in it, 2 12's or something in a ghey looking box. They'd crank it like every hour, it's sounded so shitty... so much distortion, and all the hood ninja's would be like "yeah that's tiiiiiight..." I told the guy who was operating it he was a fag and it sounded like shit... he got pissed... lol.
