system build pics. floating amp rack

Nice work man! If we have another bay area meet, you neeeed to come out.

when and iff it happens let me know i will be there. I should also have my term lab by them so we could all play with it. and thanks again

i like it alot only thing is the amp rack just doesnt seem to have enough substance to it, meaning the thickness doesnt fit with the largeness of the box, almost like the rack should be doubled up. would look sick if you somehow total did away with the feet on the rack and just completely floated it off of the rear wall. just some constructive critisism, great work tho!

I was thinking the same thing about the rack but i cant figure out how to mount it and have it be sturdy enough. the amps and such are rather heavy. the rack when loaded weights over 55 pounds.

you could always settle for like tripleing a piece up in the center so it is were you hardly see it and then little peices of steel in the ends for the support.and then a steel support in the front tieing the rack to the box.

Or could you somehow incorporate dowels instead of MDF panels to hold it up? Just an idea for ya, maybe you can figure somethin cool out.

what if i cut out the sides to be a trible as well and then light it.

thats looking really nice... those LEDs are hella bright!
you should see them in the truck. running on a 14.8 volt charging system. in the pic they are on a tiny remote battery. in the truck they are ALOT brighter. matter a fact i am worried they are too bright. the entire truck lights up lol
