system build pics. floating amp rack

Looking really good... I'd hate to see what a C.S. would charge you for something like that.... I'd bet 2 Gs or more for the install..

thanks. yea you got that right. i would not even want to ask lol. heck a basic box tossed in the back runs a few hundred all on its own.

at last i have gotten back to working on this install. i have made several small changes and will be adding some new pics this weekend. the mods include glassing the inside of the box. Some more painting, a few port changes, and a new support of the rack. I also added several layers of Dmat. for over all sound i am very happy. i was able to just nip at the 150 I was shooting for. having my new term lab has been so nice. it makes making changes SOOO much easier. not to mention that its fun to have. I LOVE driving around with it hooked up to get street readings. I also find that I am very happy with the over all SQ at "normal" levels. clearly i am not concerened about SQ when playing full tilt. but i did want it to sound nice when i played normal music for everyday driving.

VERY creative!

Not my thing... those designs inside the wood looks alil, well like a peice of wood/chair I have with all of that design in it.

BUT the idea is still VERY creative and really good!

Props, Props, and more props to you AND your wife sir! Thank you for acknowledging her work on this project with you! She has done an amazing job with her designing and finishing work.

You both deserve a big round of //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/handclap.gif.0c301076f534e244f0460706894f19e0.gif

I love it when someone steps up their game and gets creative!

well it has been about a year for this install and everything is running very strong with no problems at all. the box desing gives be VERY loud bass. it got me over the 150 mark like i wanted and sounds great while doing it. the only thing different is i added another 1500.1 but i had to hide it under the seat because it did not fit into the design
