Well I put everything in my truck tested it all out for a few weeks and made sure I was happy with everything as is. Now I have taken everything out of the truck and will begin building a perm install. This weekend I started the amp rack design. It will be a floating rack over the subs and will strech from one end of the truck to the other and the point of the rack will fall in the middle of the two front seats. Both amps and the under side of the rack will be lighted with hidden led's to give a nice glowing look to the install. Here is what I have done so far. I chose to ditch the trible design that you see in the computer made model and went with the design from my own arm. any and all input is always welcome.

thanks i have computer models of all the other parts so far as well but i keep changing them. my wife is a artist and a sculper so she does the design part and makes it all look nice. i just give my input and whine alot lol. she hands me a peice and say " cut here" and i say yes dear lol. gotta love a women that will not only let me spend a bunch of cash to build a show system but also helps me do it.

thanks for all the nice comments. the truck is a F150 super cab.

I just finished the other side of the rack. here is a few more pics. i took one from the back of the truck to show how big it really is. looks small in the other pics.

The picture of the arm is my own and it is also where i got the design from for the rack. now we match lol. i guess you can say i'm putting a bit of myself into the install.

thanks again.

Looks very nice. What did you use to cut out that design? I may need to pick up some better tools one of these days, and it looks like whatever you used did a pretty decent job.

i used a very special tool made specificly for this type of thing. they are very rare and hard to come by. it is called a jig saw lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif. i also used a band saw. and a dremmel. all of these combined with ALOT of patience. just go SLOW
