system build pics. floating amp rack

Thats really neat. by neat I mean clean.
One of the better videos ive seen too.

You should feel very proud of your accomplishment, and enjoy it.
thanks that was my goal with this install. i wanted to see VERY little wires and i wanted it to look built in not just some speakers tossed in the back. in the past i always used to start the install but get excited and ended up tossing the equipment in and saying" I'll make it nice later" well later never comes. this time i refused to install anything until every part was done right.

Lol I can definitely relate to that. I've been driving around with a fully functional CarPC for months but the custom fabricated screen/dashboard piece is still primer white //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

And I still haven't gotten around to replacing one of my armrest pieces after...this... happened while painting it

(Left it under the heating lamp just a bit too long...)

AWWW **** //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/pissed.gif.9f665f96bc89e98e708dabd4580bb591.gif that sucks man.

i made a glass panel for a guys trunk last weekend and went inside to get a drink. came back otu to him looking VERY mad. when i asked what his problem was he showed me the smashed panels. the dumb *** moved the car and the panels were behind it. ran em right over. and hell yes i charged him to make another set. i felt bad though so i did it for half the cost of the first time lol

lol that's too bad, i'm sure he appreciated you doing it for half price since it was entirely his fault

the worst part about that armrest piece is that it was the last coat of clear when that happened. It originally was fake woodgrain plastic stuff. It's impossible to paint over that so I had to hand sand the entire piece down to the original plastic. Every tiny little nook and cranny of that thing...finally I got primer to stick to it, added paint, and on the 3rd coat of clear....oops //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
