If you don't go with those screws, get a countersink bit set while you're at Home Depot. Costs about $10 and is a combo bit that drills a small hole as well as the countersink hole at the same time.

i had a guy at lowes cut the wood for me once. i told him the first cut was 1/4in off. he said..and i quote,"Differences that small won't matter in whatever YOU'RE building. Trust me kid ive been doing this for 30 years." thats the point where i told him where he could shove his shitty cut wood and left.
