sub tinsel help

I have a 12" Planet Audio and the tinsel broke. I was wondering how i should go about fixing it, should I solder another piece of wire in to connect them back together or is there better ways of fixing it.

done this before and it worked great, pain in the *** though

snip wire about 1 mm off the cone

solder and expoy THAT solder job TO the cone

run as close to the length of what the wire should be as possible and solder onto the terminals...

i happen to have extra tensil lead wire i got from RE a while back (other wire will not work well at all). paypal me 5 bucks and ill ship a good amount out to you. when i repaired it that repair job outlasted the life of the voice coil with constant abuse..... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Thanks for the help. I have some older subs I can snip the tinsel off of so I should be good ..hopefully lol
