Sub Removal

I have 2 12" Kickers with a 340W amp and a pair of infinity speakers. My question is how do I go about removing the current amp and subs while keeping the speakers in working order? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

so just to be clear unhooking the amp doesn't affect the speakers at all? Im not a audio savvy at all.

Depends on what amp you using. But by the set up I'd say no just disconnect the amps power wire fuse under the hood and that will tell you

by "infinity speakers" you mean door/deck speakers right? They aren't actually connected to the amp?

Yes, they're door speakers.

As stated above, you can pull the amplifier fuse (usually located near the battery and in-line with the large amplifier power wire) and test your stereo out to make sure all the other speakers work (sub obviously won't). Once you verify, proceed with removing what you need. with the fuse out, there isn't a large possibility of electrical issues while disconnecting things on the amplifier end but it's still wise to practice safety by taping over the bare ends of the wire so as not to ground any circuits out.
