Sub Rattling

how are your gains set?
the reason its going into protect is probably because you have the gains cranked and its pulling too much power to the amp. that will also clip the hell out of the sub, causing it to blow
Umm i am not sure how my gains are set!

But there is no clipping, I have a clipping light on my amp, and i made sure it does not come on.

But i put a bigger screw in the ground too see if it is any tighter.

my sub rattled loud and lost alot of bass. I noticed that if i looked closely at it while it was playing, I could here the rubber surround flapping against the cone, thus rattling. Also lost air meaning lost bass. I had to reglue and back to life it is.
