Sub rattleing?

I have 2 15.2 Orion H2s and a Crossfire VR2000D. The amp is rated at 2000x1 at 2 ohms and 1000x1 at 4 ohms. So overpowering it shouldnt be an issue at all. I dont think its wired incorrectly either. It doesnt say if thats per channel or bridged or what. it is a mono block amp. I have the subs wired as a 4 ohm load indepdently, and they are wired as a 2 ohm load together. Heres my problem, when i bridge them together into 2 ohms and put them on one side of the connections to the amp, it only sounds like 1000w rms. However, when I unbridge the connection and run each woofer to the amp on both sides, it feels much more like 2000w rms, but goes into protection. Why would this be happening when im running each channel at 4 ohms, as opposed to one channel at 2.

ok heres the deal man a mono amp is not bridgable. it is internally bridged already so the extra set of speaker connects is just to make wiring easier. the only wiring option you have with that setup is to wire them series/parallel--if they are dual 2 ohm vc this will give you a 2 ohm load if you need a diagram go here http://www.jlaudio.com/tutorials/wiring if your subs aren't cnnected like this please explain how they are wired.

When i bridge them to a 2 ohm load bridged, it sounds like only half the amp is working. When i run each woofer to each terminal (one woofer to positive and negative on one side of the amp and one woofer to positive and negative on the other side) they are ran at 4 ohms, and at high volumes the amp goes into protect, but it actucally sounds like 2000w.

One of my subs sounds like it has a slight rattleing inside of it. its not a screw, or something on the car, for when i push on the dust cover a tad bit, it goes away at low volumes. Any idea?
i think i know what you are talkin bout my friend. The same noise happend to my Perfect i was pushin it too hard (figures, should have listened to you guys) and then i started to hear a rattlin noise when it went into high excurson, like something was slappin the cone. Turns out that one of my tinsel leads snapped off of the voice coil. I tried to solder it back on, but it kept comin apart. Well, the sub definitely did not run at the same power, cuz it dint shake my rear view mirror anymore. lol

sooooooooo i suggest that you take the sub out of the box and check the tinsel leads, that could be the problem. (wow my first time with a suggestion!!!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif )
