Amp outputs are the pre-amp RCA outputs for the amplifier low-level inputs. They are the outputs you use to provide the signal to your amplifier to amplify.

Sub output is the dedicated RCA output for the subwoofer, slightly different from a full-range one becuase of the HU options for subwoofer control (i.e. sub output controls, crossovers).

i got a hu for you if you want a nice cheap one, well not really cheap but in your price range. Its a clarion and it does have sub outs on it with a 4yr best buy warrenty on it as well like 3 yrs left of it. It is in new condition and shows very little if any wear on it. Not used long at all.
