I’m wanting to further upgrade my set up. I’m thing two 15 rather than two 12s. Main reason is one 12 caught a screwdriver a buddy tossed in the back and the other one sounded like bagged a.ss for some reason anyways. The same buddy actually has the same setup as me but his are inverted and in a ported box and they seem to slap a lot harder than mine so naturally Im thinking over inverting the 15s. I did some research on here and they mentioned using one sub to load pressure onto the other. My question is could I invert one sub and leave the other normal but wiring them out of phase by 180 to load pressure or will it just sound awful and blow?

That would be a function of the harness, not the HU, I think. Have you looked into a Maestro or iData interface? i would check with crutchfield...

thanks DB, that definitely helps swallowing a $300 price tag 😂 these would essentially be running midbass for me too

What is your budget? With being exposed to Rain.. I would recommend looking at a marine grade SAS Bazooka for the sub stage

Don't forget Hoffman's Iron Law. You can have 2 of the 3: low end, efficiency/sensitivity or small enclosure size...
